Welcome!
The 8th conference of the European Association for the Study of Religions will be held in Brno, Czech Republic from 7 to 11 September 2008. Its main focus is the academic study of religion itself: its theories, its methods and above all its engagement in scientific, political and cultural strategies and conflicts.

The congress has the status of a special conference of the International Association for the History of Religions, and will hold meetings of the IAHR International Committee and the IAHR Executive Committee.
