Every year, the Dean's Award of the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University recognizes exceptional faculty members and their contributions to science, education, and society. For 2025, Jana Kendíková was recognized for her bachelor's thesis Aramaic Incantation Bowls and the Rise of the Negative Popularity of Lilith among the Jewish Population of Mesopotamia as a Possible Response to the Justinian Plague Pandemic in the 5th to 8th Centuries CE. Tereza Menšíková received the Dean's award for the PhD thesis Digital Mobilization: Ambedkarite Buddhism and Discourses of Change in Contemporary Anti-Caste Online Activism.

On February 5 2026, Ondřej Homolka defended the thesis Spatial Dynamics of the Cult of Mary in Late Antiquity and passed successfully the State exam.
Tereza was awarded for her dissertation, in which she studied how Dalits, members of the anti-caste movement in India, utilize digital media to expand their reach and mobilize for social change. Tereza's supervisor, Jana Valtrová, and consultant, Tomáš Glomb, also received the award
