Open science methods in fieldwork

In this workshop, I will go over the data processing methods used by the Data Provenance Research Group at MPI-EVA for collecting survey-based information in the field, as well as rapidly digitizing and processing large amounts of archival materials through a modular, standardized data pipeline using software written in Kobo Toolbox, R and the bash shell. Workshop attendees are encouraged to use RStudio with a working terminal interface if possible.
